Record number of SA films set to be released in 2010

Expect more South African box office releases than ever before this year. Around 30 feature films are jostling for releases this year. Skin and Amelia have already opened, with White Lion (19 February 2010) and Jozi (26 February 2010) just weeks away. The dates are set for Outrageous (5 March 2010), The Race-ist and Lion of Judah (both 9 April 2010), Endgame (23 April 2010), Shucks Tshabalala’s  Survival Guide to 2010 (18 May 2010), Egoli: The Movie (18 June 2010), and For Better For Worse (2 July 2010). Releases are also expected for Shirley Adams (13 August 2010), Paradise Stop, I Now Pronounce You Black and White, Themba, Violence, Master Harold... and the Boys, The Bang Bang Club, Spoon, Chanda’s Secrets, Long Street, The Unforgiving, Jock of the Bushveld, Bakgat 2, Rubbish van Rooyen, Everyman’s Taxi, Spud, Night Drive, A Place Called Descent, Foreign Demons, Bloedspoor, and Jakkalsdans
