Zwelethu Mthethwa's long awaited photo exhibition

Artist Zwelethu Mthethwa switched from painting to photography in 1996 and has been exploring the medium ever since. His long-awaited monograph, published by the Aperture Foundation in New York, opened at the iArt Gallery in April and will run until 15 May 2010. The exhibition includes all of Zwelethu’s photographic work to date, as well as mural-size photographs by the artist shown for the first time in South Africa. For more information, click here. |
