Film & Event Publishing held its Monthly Wrap Party on Thursday 28 October 2010 at the five-star 15 on Orange Hotel in Cape Town. The networking function attracted record numbers, with over 250 industry players attending.

To celebrate International Animation Day, Touchvision together with AnimationSA screened animated and visual effects-driven shorts and ads. Touchvision also hosted an animated art auction, which formed part of a global event to celebrate the fiftieth birthday of Asifa (International Animated Film Association), with proceeds going towards AnimationSA. The bids were facilitated by our charismatic autioneer,  actress Nicola Jackman.

Film & Event Publishing handed out hot-off-the-press copies of our commemorative  The Filmmaker’s Guide to South Africa’s tenth edition, which looks back at the last decade of the local film industry.

Our next Monthly Wrap Party will be held at Strand Towers in Cape Town on Thursday 25 November 2010, with a F.I.L.M prize giving.
