Fresh Eye Film Director, Bevan Cullinan, has done it again at this year’s Promax awards. The Director scooped Gold in the Television, Cable, Satellite and online content platforms category, for his commercial for DStv Making Memories.

In 2009 Bevan scooped seven awards (three gold, three silver and a bronze) for the DStv Guess Who? television commercial series in New York. The Promax|BDA Promotion and Marketing Awards are held every year and celebrate excellence, creativity and innovation in promotion, marketing and design. This year’s event was held in Los Angeles in June. Well known for his more comedic directing, Bevan brought the emotional storyboard from Studio Zoo to life, in a commercial which followed the romantic journey of two DStv viewers as they grew up with the familiar and enjoyable parts of their lives such as watching films and television.

Fresh Eye Film Productions has attracted attention through its talented line up of directors and producers, including Bevan whose recent portfolio includes commercials for Steers, Standard Bank and DStv as well as music videos for the likes of The Graeme Watkins Project.
