ERGOSPORT MODELS CO-HOSTS FILM AND EVENT MEDIA PARTY IN GAUTENG

On Wednesday evening the 11th of July 2012, ErgoSport Models co-hosted Film and Event Media’s party at the Southern Sun Hotel in Hyde Park, Johannesburg. The party was the second that they have hosted with Film and Event Media, the first being on a luxury yacht at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

The purpose of the party was two-fold, to showcase some of the amazing talent that ErgoSport have on their books currently and also to introduce their new Gauteng manager, Michelle Barrett to the industry.

“We invited our celebrities and well known athletes to the event. Film and Event Media invited the media and Film industry. It was a great networking platform where Ergosport Models could showcase their talent and welcome Michelle Barrett as the Ergosport manager for Gauteng,” says ErgoSport Models founder and owner, Sandy Kennedy.

Ergosport Models is based in Cape Town and Gauteng and represents athletes throughout South Africa. The event was a huge success with live crossings to broadcasts of their Olympic Athletes being featured on the SuperSport Olympic Countdown programme.

“Coming from a background of advertising, communications and marketing, and having spent several years as a model, the opportunity to head up the Gauteng division of ErgoSport Models just seemed like the perfect fit to me. What really caught my attention was the company's focus on sport and athletics. Sport is not only key to a healthy lifestyle but it plays a significant role in personal development,” says Michelle Barrett, Gauteng manager of ErgoSport Models.

“Let's not forget the inspiration we feel when we support and follow the achievements of our favourite sportsmen and women - people who really push themselves to the limit; the people who we admire and aspire to be. I am very excited to be a part of ErgoSport Models and I hope to provide our local talent with a platform through which they can continue to inspire our country.”
