Mid-level Video Editor
Key responsibilities:
- Interpreting client briefs and strategic directives to produce compelling creative output
- Conceptualizing digital media creative across multiple social channels
- Manipulating and editing advert and film pieces
- Trimming footage segments and putting together video sequences
- Incorporating music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Creating rough and final cuts
- Ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running
- Driving projects from start to finish
- Contributing to brainstorms and creative sessions
Minimum requirements:
- Three+ years’ experience as a video editor
- Relevant qualification
- Exciting showreel (awarded work would be highly beneficial)
- Demonstrable video editing ability
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Strong storytelling skills
- Solid command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Fully Mac literate
- Knowledge of social media
- Ad agency experience
