The NFVF, a national film body set up by government to grow and develop the South African Film and Television industry wishes to invite all interested consultants to help it establish a Film Fund.

The aim is to establish a Fund that could attract both private and public entities to invest in the development, production, and distribution of home-grown content. The consultant will be responsible for the investigation into the setting up of such a Film Fund, its investment structure, strategy, financing model, private partnerships, operations and the development of a business plan.

Responsibilities:

• To research, benchmark and investigate international film funds
• Investigate the local landscape
• Investigate partnerships opportunities
• Develop a strategy for the fund
• Develop a business plan for the fund
• Make informed financial recommendations
• Investigate its legislative impact

Experience:

• Knowledge of the South African Film Industry
• Technical experience in similar assignments

Requirements:

• Report writing skills
• To complete and deliver the report as per the time set
• To deliver a report of high quality
