DSTV ANNOUNCES JUDGING PANEL FOR FILM TALENT CELEBRATION COMPETITION

DStv today announced five highly esteemed judges to sit on the selection panel for its Film Talent Celebration competition. The panel consists of respected industry players, which include Kgomotso Matsunyane of Tom Pictures; Helen Kuun of Indigenous Distribution; Eve Rantseli of Women of the Sun; Teboho Mahlatsti of The Bomb and Steven Markovitz of the Encounters Film Festival.

The goal of the Southern Africa Travel and Tourism Film & Video Awards is to provide a showcase for your products and artwork to as wide an audience as possible. This is done through the fantastic opportunity offered by public screenings on the Internet and top class shopping malls. Best films and videos will be shown at popular Ster Kinekor, NuMetro and Avalon cinemas countrywide.
And some of the best films and videos will make it to traditional television broadcasters. The very best will be entered at International Film Festivals.

A new local South African TV - Channel to be launched by mid - 2011 requires the services of an individual or company to assist with set-up and ongoing management.Must have a good knowledge of Content Development (Programmes), Sponsorships and Advertising and Scheduling and play-out.
This position would ideally suit a knowledgeable Johannesburg-based generalist with some experience in producing Television Series. Also, we are seeking to develop a relationship with a small, experienced - production company, perhaps with a basic studio facility.
