A German crew, led by Tom Twyker, collaborated with a Kenyan production company to host workshops in Kibera in Nairobi, Kenya, one of the largest slums in East Africa. This is the film that resulted from it. Directed by Hawa Essuman, Soul Boy screened at DIFF and won The Audience Award at Rotterdam.
