A Small Town Called Descent was produced by Moments Entertainment's Firdoze Bulbulia and Faith Isiakpere. The film was written, shot, directed and edited by Jahmil X.T. Qubeka. It stars Hollywood character actor John Savage (The Deer Hunter), who's completely outshone by local talent like Fana Mokoena, Vusi Kunene and Paul Buckby.
